Teletherapy
The COVID’19 Pandemic has put a spotlight on telehealth services, including speech therapy. Parents of medically fragile children or those with compromised immune systems may be considering telehealth for safety reasons. Those who cannot access speech therapy services in a physical location or are looking for additional parent coaching opportunities may also view telehealth as a viable option. At AOT, teletherapy services are conveniently provided in your own home, in your own language, via videoconferencing software. Call us for more information.
Done well, there is very little difference between telehealth and face to face speech-therapy, and the results are similar.
